Arc'teryx introduces new down jackets to extend the limits of its insulation offerings.
For Backcountry and alpine use, the lightest and warmest piece is the Cerium LT Jacket (M) & Hoody (W) a warm mid-layer or stand-alone piece. The key to the Cerium’s weightless, agile freedom include underarm gussets for better mobility, a three part sleeve construction for better elbow/arm articulation, Down Composite Mapping and a lightweight yet durable face fabric.
Down has a tendency to lose its loft and warmth when it becomes wet. As a solution to this chAllenge, Arc’teryx developed Down Composite Mapping, a construction method that places 80 g/m2 Coreloft™ synthetic insulation in areas where moisture may accumulate, and 850 fill European Goose down in the core to provide maximum warmth.

新的羽绒中间层取名Cerium。采用新剪裁设计，减少了整件衣服需要缝合的数量(缝越多越重). 省下来的重量用在了更牢固的面料上，使得鸟的羽绒服比一般的更耐穿。一般羽绒服口袋易破，鸟衣也加强了设计。 袖子新设计。

新复合设计，主要部分采用850欧洲鹅绒，易于吸湿的部位如衣领和肩部采用Coreloft棉。
更正：又看了一下，重量应该是全衣净重，不是充绒量，呵呵。

Andessa (W) and Macai (M) Jackets combine fully waterproof and windproof/breathable GORE-TEX® fabric with both down and synthetic insulations. Using a strategic placement of insulation choice, Down Composite Mapping ensures user comfort through the use of Coreloft™ 100 g/m2 synthetic material along the hem, collar, sleeves and underarms - the areas most subject to moisture. 850 cuin fill European Goose down in the core provides maximum loft protection.
Down Contour Construction* makes use of an inner liner built with Down Composite Mapping and places it inside a GORE-TEX® shell. The Coreloft™ Compact outside of the liner sits next to the shell, protecting the down-filled inner from moisture generated inside the jacket.

NUCLEI HOODY – Heaps of heat

For times when conditions merit coverage, the Nuclei Hoody packs the condensed warmth of Coreloft™ insulation into an exceptionally sleek and compact piece that has a high degree of water repellency.

The design balance lends itself toward a streamlined focus on warmth. The body receives 80 g/m2 insulation, while the sleeves, side panels and hood have 60 g/m2, to maintain a lean profile and add mobility. Hand pockets have invisible zippers; sleeve cuffs and hood are treated with slim elastic binding for secure fit and clean, lightweight construction.

The outer fabric is a smooth-surfaced nylon ripstop textile that readily sheds snow and other precipitation. Nuclei Hoody comes with a stuff sack that fits into an interior stow pocket and a clip-in point for attaching it to a harness.

Professional performance with a twist: KHAMSKI PACK

A remix of a classic top loader backcountry skiing / split boarding pack, the Arc'teryx Khamski Pack has an AC2 fabric front with standard high quality nylon pack body. The AC2 technology fabric provides a top and front panel that easily manages all snow conditions without concern for moisture absorption or snow accumulation. In combination with 420 D nylon 6.6 plain weave main body textile, the result is a hardwearing premium backcountry pack that will stand up to long term use.

The back panel on the Khamski is a thin, yet comfortable C2 system that was introduced in the game-changing NoZone packs. Comfortable and light weight, the M-bar stays transfer the weight to the hip for stable carrying but can be removed for lighter loads. Organizational pockets aid access & speedy transitions.

ALPHA SV BIB – Expedition Partner

Intended for the most severe conditions, the new GORE-TEX® Pro textile selections for the Alpha SV Bib have strong nylon fibres in the face fabrics, targeting areas of most exposure with N155p-X GORE-TEX® Pro, while the main body of the bib uses the Arc’teryx exclusive N80p-X GORE-TEX; Pro, introduced last year. GORE-TEX; Pro is the hardest wearing waterproof/breathable membrane, engineered to match the interval rate of climbers and outdoor professionals. Featuring a full crotch zip that works with harnesses, the Alpha SV Bib incorporates e3D patterning to accommodate movement of maximum winter layers without constriction. A newly developed LegWrap™ system reduces pant leg volume with a simple internal strap to reduce the risk of crampon snag. The LegWrap™ is internal and removable.
