Xianjin Ancient Path(also called as Cang Ridge Ancient Path) Xianjin Ancient Path, winding along Cang Ridge(border region of Jinyun and Xianju), also called as Cang Ridge Ancient Path, is a part of Taiwu Official Road(ancient connection between Taizhou and Jinhua), also the best preserved part so far. It connects Hu Town in Jinyun County and Hengxi Town in Xianju County, nearly 40 km. Today, it is one of top ten walking routes in Zhejiang Province, sought after by many hikers. In ancient times, Xianjin Ancient Path is a Salt Road. Mostly walking the road are those salt porters. Salt from the Huangyan coast is entered into Xianju County by water. After that, the porters, carried the salt, through Xianjin Ancient Path, climbed up Cang Ridge to transport salt to the mainland. For thousands of years, bodies with every effort, assembling into conveyors on this road, flocked constantly to draw a historical picture...... This line is for new guys. Schedule: D1 Friday(2013.08.09): 19:00 Gathering Place:Shanghai People's Square 20:00 Leave on time to Hengxi Town, Xianju County D2 Saturday(2013.08.10): 02:30 Arrive in Hengxi Town 07:00 Start TREKking along the ancient path after breakfast 08:00 Arrive at Canglingken, then the Gushi Bridge and the creek, take a shortcut to march toward Dragon Palace 11:00 Take a break and have lunch 12:30 Go on 12:40 Pray at Dragon Palace 13:30 Ask for positive energy in a mountain temple 15:40 Camp in Nantian Village or Lengshui Village, whose entrance gate was bulit like an ancient city gate D3 Sunday(2013.08.11): 5:00 Get up to watch the sunrise, continue to sleep or enjoy morning scenery 08:30 Pack up and be ready to go 09:00 Set out from Lengshui Village and walk along the main road to go down. Because it is a twisting mountain road, there are several places to go down directly 09:30 Get to Huaihuashu Village (Kuocang Town), a small village.
