Yup, these are $520 boots. You will notice this when you take them out of the box. Nothing cheap about them. They are ridiculously comfortable, and look like they'll last an age. These can also easily be resoled when the sole wears out. My local shoe repair shop quoted me $75 to put new soles on them. That's a whole lot cheaper than a new pair of boots.
Buy these boots, own them the rest of your life.

I have owned the Zamberlan 1030s for 6 months and I use them for hikes lasting from 1 to 4 hours, 1-2 times a week. There is no break in period. Arch support is unmathched for going over uneven surfaces. I liked the boot so much that I bought a second pair. Given the cost of the 1030s that is saying something.

Yes these are amazing. I use them to hike extensively in the Santa Cruz foothills. They are comfortable and needed essentially no break in. Fit is generous. I did replace insole with a more supportive one. Very very nice.

I was amazed how amazing the boots were right out of the box but for 500 bucks they better be. comfortable right out the box did not need to break them in and got no blisters .i will have these boots for the rest of my life. SICK BOOTS IF YOU GOT THE DOUGH , and remember say no to NWO!!! much love everybody!
