Liming, as a traditional climbingspot in China, has been developed for 4 years since 2010, started from the veryfirst route called Soul Awakening. Liming has embraced more and more climbers,and more and more people fall in love with Liming not only for climbing, butalso for its fascinating natural beauty.
With the growingamount of climbers coming to Liming, for the safety concern and betterdevelopment of Liming, the major developer of Liming climbing routes, MichaelDobie, has decided to raise fund for maintaining Liming climbing routes, byselling Liming Climbing Guidebook, soto avoid the limitation of one individual developer. All the fund raised byselling the guidebook will be invested into development and maintenance ofLiming rock climbing. Our current work is to replace all the bolts ofprotection stations. Steel fixed bolts are applied based on hydraulic expansionfor protection. Due to the rock structure of Liming’s sandstone, therelies a potential safety hazard if the steel bolts have been used fora long time, so we have decided to gradually replace all the steel bolts withglue-in bolts, which will be much safer and firmer to protect climbers.
Liming Climbing Guidebook, edition 2014, of 204 pages in total, is written by Michael Dobie, withChinese edition in the front, followed by English edition at the end.
