Everest Team Complete

<br />Coloradan climber Brad Johnson arrived in Everest Base camp yesterday, rounding out the Berg Adventures International Expedition team - the only team on Everest’s South Side this season. The group took some time to CATch up yesterday, telling stories and poring over the beautiful photographs and route descriptions of Brad’s new guidebook “Classic Climbs of the Cordillera Blanca Peru.”

<br />Wally reports the monsoon month of September lives up to its reputation for precipitation every day; however, the mornings have been clear in Base Camp and further progress has been made through the icefall.

<br />In his latest dispatch, Wally wrote, “We’re just getting started and we’re a great group of friends. There are a lot of great adventures coming in weeks ahead.”

<br />Berg Adventures has the only South Side expedition this fall. They have a real chAllenge ahead of them these upcoming weeks having to fix and prepare Everest entirely by themselves. One of the expedition members, Maegen Carney plans to ski down from the summit.
