Energy-saving While the weight of a conventional backpack bears down on the hips and has to be moved with every step, in the Versametric System these hip movements are absorbed by the hipbelt, centrally transmitted to the middle and then distributed to save strength and energy. The Versametric hipbelt follows every hip movement yet does not transfer this movement to the pack sack itself, which remains stationary. The Versametric System clearly minimizes energy input, enhancing performance and sparing one’s joints. To ease Descents, the pendulum motion can be locked into position with one hand. The 60+10 litre Versametric Ultralight pack weighs only 2 kg; there’s also a waterproof Versametric Proof 65+10 version and the Versametric 70+10. The following features ensure a perfect anatomic fit in all Versametric packs: individual, self-adjusting load positioning, continuous back length adjustment with millimetre precision and an ergonomic head moulding.
