In the summer of 2004 an international Expedition climbed Broad Peak, an 8,047 meter high mountain in the Karakoram, Pakistan. Mick Parker and Paul Walters (both Australian) were sUCCesfull on the 27th of July. None of the other climbers reached the summit. They all were "ready to go" at 7,250 meter (Camp 3), but bad weather forced them to descend the next day. Unfortunately the weather did not improve for a long time and they had to seize their attempts to climb Broad Peak. But maybe the most important fact is that all climbers had a fantastic time and they enjoyed climbing in the Karakoram!

|
